Camila Caiado

Professor Camila Caiado is professor of mathematics and Deputy Executive Dean for Impact and Engagement, Durham University, UK. She is known for her research on the development of models for large complex systems such as health, climate, and population dynamics. From the digital twins for online banking to the models for cardiology, Camila brings her mathematical approaches to interdisciplinary projects. She is the sciences convenor of the Leverhulme Centre for Algorithmic Life’s thematic programme in Synthetic Worlds.
