Eamonn Bell

Dr Eamonn Bell is Assistant Professor of Digital Humanities in the Department of Computer Science, Durham University, UK. Eamonn’s research applies mathematical and contemporary computational techniques to address problems in musicology, music theory, and the humanities more broadly. He has made novel contributions to the history of computational sciences and digital technology and is expert in supporting computationally intensive research by non-specialists (particularly in the humanities and social sciences). His work on has been funded by UKRI and the Irish Research Council. Eamonn is the computer science and digital humanities lead for the Leverhulme Centre for Algorithmic Life’s thematic programme on Generativity.
